Have you ever felt more sluggish, tired, or depressed during the winter months? It turns out that this may be a natural response to the lack of available food and lowered light levels common to those frigid times, and ordinarily would be a boon to you. However, there will be times during an emergency where being sluggish and withdrawn would be a major problem when you’re trying to survive. As such, you should know how to overcome this natural response in order to maintain proper levels of alertness regardless of the season.
